Privacy policy.

This policy explains what Revo Studios does with personal data collected through revostudios.co. It is written to be accurate about this specific site rather than generic — every claim below was checked against what the site actually runs.

01

Who we are

Revo Studios ("we", "us") is a design and engineering studio trading as Revo Studios. The business is in the process of incorporation; the intended jurisdiction of registration is the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).

Legal entity: [Legal entity name — pending incorporation]. Registered address: [Registered address — pending incorporation]. Until incorporation completes, the studio operates from Madrid, Spain, and the founders are based in the EU.

For any question about this policy or your data, contact hello@revostudios.co.

Our position on tracking

This site runs no analytics, no advertising tags, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts on ordinary page views. We set no cookies of our own.

We do not build profiles of visitors, we do not sell or share personal data with data brokers, and there is no advertising network involved in this site. We state this plainly because it is unusual enough to be worth stating, and because it is verifiable — the site is a static build and its source is inspectable in your browser.

  • No analytics or measurement platform.
  • No advertising or remarketing tags.
  • No cookies set by this site.
  • One sessionStorage entry, "revo:entered", which only stops the opening animation replaying during your visit. It holds no personal data and is cleared when you close the tab.
  • To limit automated spam, the contact form includes a hidden field that people never see and records how long the form was open before it was submitted. Your IP address is used, in memory only, to limit how many times the form can be submitted in a short period. None of this is stored or used to identify you.
03

What we collect, and only when you give it

Personal data reaches us only when you deliberately submit it. There is no passive collection.

When you submit the contact form we receive: your name, your work email address, your company website, a description of what your company manufactures, a description of the problem you want solved, and the budget band you select. This is sent to us by email and is also recorded as a row in a private Google Sheet so that enquiries are not lost in an inbox.

Our web host records standard server logs (including IP addresses) as a normal part of serving and securing the site. We do not use these logs to identify or profile individual visitors.

04

Why we may lawfully use it (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following bases. Submitting the contact form is a request by you to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and responding to it is our legitimate interest in conducting business correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)). Keeping our site secure and functioning is also a legitimate interest.

We do not rely on consent for cookies or tracking, because we do not use any. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

05

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of third-party processors. Each is named here with what it actually receives, because "we may share data with service providers" tells you nothing.

  • Vercel — hosts this website and runs the contact form endpoint. Receives server logs and, transiently, your form submission as it is processed.
  • Resend — delivers the contact form submission to us as an email. Receives the contents of your submission.
  • Google Workspace — our email. Your submission is delivered to, and stored in, our hello@revostudios.co mailbox. If you book a call, a notification is also delivered to our bookings@, and to the two founders directly.
  • Google Sheets — every contact form submission is also written as a row to a private spreadsheet we use to keep track of enquiries. It receives your name, email address, company website, what you manufacture, your description of the problem, and your budget band.
  • Cal.com — provides the scheduling widget shown after you submit the form. If you book a call, it receives your name, email address, timezone and any notes you add.
  • Google Calendar and Google Meet — a booked call is placed on our Google Calendar and a Meet link is generated. Google receives the booking details, including your email address, in order to send the invitation and host the call.
06

The booking flow, specifically

The scheduling widget is not loaded when you open the contact page. It loads only after you successfully submit the form, at which point your browser connects to Cal.com to display real availability. If you never submit the form, no connection to Cal.com is made from this site.

Booking a call is optional. If you would rather not use the scheduler, email hello@revostudios.co and we will arrange a time directly.

07

International transfers

Our processors may store or process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, and the intended jurisdiction of our own incorporation is the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data of EEA or UK residents is transferred outside those areas, we rely on the transfer mechanisms offered by those processors, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

[This section requires legal review once incorporation completes and the controller entity and its location are fixed.]

08

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions remain in our email, and as a row in our enquiries spreadsheet, for as long as they are useful for the business relationship. Both are reviewed periodically. Booking records remain in our calendar. You can ask us to delete any of these at any time and we will remove the row as well as the email.

09

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email hello@revostudios.co. We will respond within one month, as the GDPR requires. We do not charge for this.

10

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. This document is a draft pending legal review and should be expected to change on incorporation.
